My name is Meri DeLorenzo Howard. I've been involved with singing Italian folksongs for over twenty years. The people that I sang with are in Seattle, Washington. I'm now living in Los Angeles.

This webpage is dedicated to the memory of my good friend and singing partner Pat Bezzio who passed away suddenly in October, 1998. She was a driving force in the Seattle folk community not only in Italian music but also Balkan, English, and other ethnic music. She played a variety of instruments and was president of the Seattle Folklore Society. She will be missed by the many people whose lives she touched.

This is a picture of me with my friend Pat Bezzio as Maria e Patrizia our singing duet. Unfortunately, I had a bad hair cut right before this picture was taken.

Our group, Le Voci Allegre, performed during half time for the soccer game between the Florence team and the team from Seattle.
Our group, Le Voci Allegre, sang at many ethnic festivals in Seattle, parties at the Sons of Italy, the Dante Alighieri Society, and at official civic events.
